Centerin Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-23 · Package: jp.centerin.app
Centerin ("the app") measures the centering of a trading card from a photo. All measuring happens on your phone. The developer runs no server for the app and receives neither your photos nor your measurements.
1. What stays on your phone
- Photos you take or choose are processed in memory to measure the card. The temporary photo file is deleted right after it is read.
- If you save a measurement: the margins, ratios, the ± range, the date, your optional note, and a small image of the straightened card.
- Your settings (card type) and whether you have purchased Pro.
All of this is stored only on your device and is excluded from Android cloud backup. You can delete saved measurements in History, or remove everything by uninstalling the app.
2. What leaves your phone
The app's own code makes no network requests. Photos and measurements are never sent anywhere.
Pro (one-time purchase). The purchase is handled by Google Play Billing. The app receives only whether Pro has been purchased, to unlock the features. The developer does not receive your payment details. Google's handling of the purchase is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Exporting CSV. If you export your history, the file is saved to the place you choose. The app does not send it anywhere.
3. What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking SDK.
- No access to contacts, location, or microphone.
4. Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| CAMERA | To photograph the card. Images are processed on the device. |
| INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, BILLING | Added by Google Play Billing so that Google Play can process the Pro purchase. The app's own code does not use the network. |
5. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
6. Not a grading service
The app measures margins and shows them next to guidelines published by grading companies. It does not grade cards or predict grades. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by PSA®, CGC, BGS, TAG, ARS, or any other company. PSA® is a registered trademark of its owner.
7. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
